Research has proven and health professionals understand that the result of poor oral hygiene is infection and disease which, left untreated, may spread from the mouth to the rest of the body. Clinical research directly links oral infection to increases in staph and streptococcus that can lead to pneumonia, diabetes, cardiopulmonary disease, stroke, cancer and numerous other infectious diseases.

Our PrevMED OHM® Program is delivered by a local, credentialed Dentist and Registered Dental Hygienist (in certain states). The program has been designed by Dr. Allen Finkelstein, DDS, our Chief Dental Officer, who is one of the country’s most innovative and respected experts in oral hygiene for underserved populations.
